History

In 1998 Rev Ed Arcton founded Institute of Christian Leadership committed to the historic Christian faith. He been the first president, envisioned an institution that rivaled the best colleges globally, and he set the standard for academic rigor and excellence that still applies.

By 2003, the name of the institute had changed from the Institute of Christian Leadership (ICL) to the Institute of Christian Leadership Management and Administration (ICLMA). In the year 2020, the name of the institute was changed again to College of Theology and Missions.

In recent years, the college has earned increasing national recognition for its academic quality, leadership training, and unique emphasis on intellectual, spiritual, and personal Christian growth. The founder, Rev. Ed Arcton, helped the college attract highly qualified students and faculty, create a vital Christian community, and make plans for the construction of campus facilities. His priorities include implementing the master plan, building a strong financial base, and groundbreaking the acquisition of land and construction of a permanent training center for the college.

Students who study at the College have a broad range of certificates and diplomas to choose from in pursuant of a desire course of study and programs. The most popular majors at college include theology, missiology, Pastoral Ministry, Leadership and Administration/Management

Other interesting majors and minors include cross-cultural communication, research analytics, biblical studies, ICT, and many more. The College of Theology & Missions awards certificates and diplomas. There are also pre-professional concentrations in teaching ministry and church management study to name a few.

About College    

 College, which was founded by Rev Ed Arcton in 1998, is a private Christian College in Accra, Ghana. It was originally called Institute of Christian Leadership, but it outgrew the facilities there by the year 2004. Today, it is a respected Bible college that has garnered attention for its academics, mission and philosophy.

It’s mission is built around being a Christian College with a global outlook but with a residential heart. Developing students’ character is a cornerstone goal of this mission as is promoting the advantage that comes from being at a Christian college.

The College also tries to ensure that its students are ready to interact on the global stage. Aside from what happens every day in the classroom, the college also runs programs and seminars that further promote this idea. There is the Mission Leaders Network for Pastors, Pastoral  Enrichment, Center for World prayer Command, the Christian Business Network for Christian business men and women to name a few.

Students are encouraged to take an active part in their community throughout the course of their college careers. Student projects that demonstrate this in action include creating a podcast for local innovators in their community and area of service. 

In their spare time, students at this college love to take part in the numerous clubs and organizations on college.
