In obedience to the Great Commission and desiring to meet the need for laborers in the harvest field in our nation and indeed, the world, the founder and faculty in 1998 established the College of Theology and Missions to be faithful to the entirety of the Word of God. (Psalm 119:160)
A CTM education develops both the mind and the heart. Instruction and inspiration are given by godly, caring scholars and teachers who are concerned that the historic Christian faith is both conceptually understood, passionately embraced, and intentionally shared. We seek to provide students with nothing less than the integration of solid Biblical, historical, and practical theology with true spirituality, enabling these men and women to become leaders of the church and society.
College of Theology and Missions combines a rigorous theological education with effective leadership training. The administration and faculty are committed to the truths of Evangelical Biblical-Centered Doctrine and Theology: the sovereignty of God, the inerrancy of His Word, and the Great Commission.
The theological perspective from which training is offered is that of historic Evangelical Reformed theology as expressed in the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Larger and Shorter Catechisms. Students from other evangelical perspectives are encouraged to apply and are heartily welcomed.
This foundation of education enables our students to discharge a variety of functions in God’s kingdom, such as pastoral work, counseling, evangelism, missions, church planting, establishing Christian schools, media ministries, and more.
CTM Training will equip students from nations across the globe with the knowledge and skills needed to be ministry leaders in advancing the Kingdom of God on Earth. Our education will be marked by its consistency with the Evangelical Biblical Doctrine, theological depth, practical applicability in world-wide cultures, and evangelistic aim. The College will provide online and residential courses to train students already engaged in a vocational or ministerial role, as well as those interested in full-time studies. Students will be united by their affirmation of the Apostles’ Creed but come from diverse Christian theological traditions and will desire to grow in their knowledge of God for the purpose of serving Christ by proclaiming the gospel to unbelievers and discipling those who already believe.
The College of Theology and Missions is a Bible training college that exists to educate men and women to declare God’s glory among the nations and to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our homes, marketplaces, and communities. Our mission, therefore, is to “build solid lives on Jesus, the Rock of Ages.”
“Whoever comes to Me and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: He is like a man building a house who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock.” Luke 6:47-48.
To train men and women for full-time and part-time gospel ministry and to enrich and enable all laypersons who seek to become more knowledgeable and effective in their own personal ministries. We’re committed to preparing leaders for the next generation of the Christian faith, emphasizing the application of scripture to all aspects of our culture, and providing them with excellent academic instruction and good guidance.
We adhere to Biblical a educational program that provides students with appropriate Biblical theology via academic excellence, resulting in validity in their world, Christian service mission, and daily life.
We prioritize excellence in serving the Lord Jesus Christ, His Church, and the world while maintaining a humble and receptive behavior. This helps ministry leaders realize the importance of each other before the Almighty, God.
We emphasize serving via the basic church community and recognize that the church is God’s tool for reaching the world, both at home and abroad with the gospel of Christ.
We prioritize serving with a Biblical perspective that acknowledges the Bible’s complete supremacy as the foundation of truth, guiding Christians in living as beacons of lights in an age of darkness.
We aim to serve with honesty in order to build a culture of righteousness that fosters transparency in all interactions.
