College of Theology and Missions is a school of ministry that exists for the purpose of training church leaders for vocational ministry in the Open Bible Churches.

As an officially certified school of ministry with Liberation Mission For Christ Ministerial College and it Churches, CTM desires to train individuals for ministerial leadership roles and beyond. Students who complete our program and receive their certifications will be eligible to apply for ministerial credentials with LMC Global Churches. Students of other churches may go back to serve in their respective local church of their choice. While still some may also choose Churches of their own to serve.

Academic Ability

The applicant must possess an educational background that enables them to successfully perform at the college level.

Spiritual Maturity

The applicant must exemplify a Christian lifestyle committed to fulfilling God’s Word.

There are many demands placed on those who minister. Thus, a pattern of righteous living is essential.

Church Maturity

The applicant must exemplify a Christian lifestyle committed to the local church where they live, work and worship.

They are to serve the local Church with their gifts and ability according to the grace of God.

Registration Policies

  1. Registration is required each semester.
  2. Students may not attend class without fully registering.
  3. New Students may register anytime between “Pre-Registration” and “Late Registration”
  4. Continuing Students are encouraged to register during Pre-registration.
  5. Contact the CTM Office for Final and Late Registration.
  6. CTM encourages all students to Pre-register to avoid Late Registration fees or missing class sessions.

Adding Courses

  1. Courses may be added as late as Monday of the 3rd week of classes.
  2. Added courses must have the consent of the Academic Dean and the Instructor.
  3. When adding a course after the semester has began, students are responsible for acquiring information covered prior to their entrance.
  4. Late registrants should not expect the teacher to repeat instruction shared from the beginning of the course.
  5. Late registrations should consider the above before deciding to add a course after the start date.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

All applicants must meet the following requirements to receive consideration for admission:

  1. Applicants must be active Christians involved in their local church.
  2. It is recommended that applicants have satisfactorily completed high school or its equivalent (a transcript is required). If the applicant is not a high school graduate, another. certificate is acceptable. The administration has the right to waive these requirements at their discretion.
  3. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or above by the start of the semester.
  4. Part-time enrollment is available for capable High School, both Juniors and Seniors. Administration approval is required.

Dropping Courses

  1. Students may drop a course as late as the 4th week of class regardless of Pass or Fail status.
  2. Dropping Timeline:
  3. 1st – 3rd Week: May drop without Add/Drop Form and will receive a “W” (Withdrawal) on permanent record.
  4. 4th – 10th Week: Must complete Add/Drop Form.
  5. After 10th Week: Student will receive an “F” (Fail) on permanent record.
  6. All Add/Drop Forms must be completed and signed by the student, the Instructor, and the Dean.
  7. Student may not simply stop attending classes to drop a course. If this occurs, student will receive an “F” (Fail) and will be responsible for all costs incurred as a result of failure to give proper notification of having dropped a course.
  8. Exception: Health emergency or other extreme conditions.

How To Apply 

College of Theology and Missions has always been committed to providing a powerful, Spirit-filled educational experience.  Our primary aim is to assist students in responding to and being equipped for Jesus’ commission.

 College of Theology and Missions admits students at the beginning of every semester. In order to be officially admitted, each applicant must complete an application packet and receive a letter of admission. Applicants meeting admission requirements are considered without regard to race, color, creed, sex, or physical limitations. A high value is placed upon applicants who express a call to ministry.

Below is our application process. Each prospective student must complete the following before and entrance interview can be scheduled.  Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions!

Admissions Process

  1. A completed CTM General Application (General Application)
  2. Pastor Reference Form (download) (electronic submission)
  3. Educator Reference Form (download) (electronic submission)
  4. Official College Transcripts from Accredited Institution (download)
  5. Essay – Answer the questions below. The essay should be 2 pages typed, 12-point, and double-spaced (email to admissions office, please attach as a separate document and include your full name and desired course of study.)
    1. How did you become a Christian?
    1. How are you currently serving in your home church?
    1. How do you believe this certificate, diploma or degree will help you in your ministry and calling?
    1. Upon graduating from CTM, where do you feel the Lord is leading you?
  6. One time non-refundable Application Fee of GHC100 (to pay by cash, MTN Momo, (Liberation Mission For Christ), or mail a check to CTM)

Admissions Decision

Upon being admitted to attend College of Theology and Missions, an admissions letter sent via e-mail or WhatsApp will include list of additional steps to take. The admitted applicant will also be required to sign their Enrollment Agreement.

If CTM is not able to accept an applicant’s request for admission, the College will advise the applicant of the steps recommended to be taken in order to be considered for a future admission.

Our goal is to send written notification of our admission decision within two weeks of the file being completed. Applicants are welcome to contact the Admissions Office to inquire about the status of their application.
